🇨🇦CANADA 🇨🇦 receives Wild card for WBSC U-23 Men’s Softball World Cup
The 3rd in the world ranking of WBSC Canada Receives the Wild card for the WBSC U-23 Men's Softball World Cup to be held in Parana Argentina in April 2023
Canada Softball receives the wild card despite not participating in the Pan American Games held in Venezuela in July 2022.
Sources report that the national federations of Canada and the United States cannot attend the First Pan American in Venezuela due to diplomatic issues of included countries and athlete safety issues.
The WBSC Executive Board awarded world No. 3 Canada the wild card to participate in the inaugural edition of the infoma @wbsc tournament on its website.
The event was originally scheduled to be played in Argentina in October 2022 before being postponed. After opening a new bidding process to host the tournament, the WBSC Executive Board awarded Argentina the hosting rights for this event in 2023.

La Junta Ejecutiva de la WBSC otorgó al No. 3 del mundo Canadá el comodÃn para participar en la edición inaugural del torneo infoma @wbsc en su sitio web.
El evento estaba originalmente programado para jugarse en Argentina en octubre de 2022 antes de posponerse. Luego de abrir un nuevo proceso de licitación para albergar el torneo, la Junta Ejecutiva de la WBSC otorgó a Argentina los derechos de hospedaje para este evento en 2023.
